It is worth starting with what this entire GDPR is, which has been with us for some time. The regulation was adopted on April 27, 2016, and entered into force on May 25 last year, replacing Directive 95/46 / EC.
The new law introduced, among others:
easier access to data,
the principle of information transparency was introduced,
citizens are guaranteed the right to transfer personal data, for example between service providers,
introduced numerous improvements based on the right to delete data from selected collections,
the right to be immediately informed in the event of a hacker attack has been introduced (which can, for example, significantly increase our chances of blocking key information and data, including a payment card),
great emphasis was put on implementing data encryption technology.
